For installation, secure the new antenna extension cable to the harness at least 150 mm (6 in) apart by wrapping the cable with electrical tape along the outside of the wiring harness. Connect the radio's IP antenna extension cable to the radio and reinstall the radio. Then, connect the IP antenna extension cable to the body harness antenna extension cable near the front door hinge pillar followed by reinstalling the IP compartment, the right IP insulator, and the right carpet.
