How to service the brake light switch on Buick Century?

Begin the brake light switch service task by taking off the driver's instrument panel insulator. Take off the electrical connectors before taking the stoplamp switch out from the brake pedal bracket assembly. Reconnect both electrical connections before putting the stoplamp switch back onto its designated position on the brake pedal bracket. Reinstall the driver side instrument panel insulator now. Close the stoplamp switch to its proper position at the end.
