Brake Switch

Start the procedure of Torque Converter Clutch/Cruise Control Release Switch replacement by removing the left instrument panel insulator. The installation process begins by detaching the electrical connector from the cruise release switch followed by switching out the switch from its retainer on the brake pedal bracket. You should start by placing the cruise release switch onto the retainer attached to the brake pedal bracket before you reconnect the electrical connector. Manual adjustment of the cruise release switch follows after installing the left side instrument panel insulator.

Begin the brake light switch service task by taking off the driver's instrument panel insulator. Take off the electrical connectors before taking the stoplamp switch out from the brake pedal bracket assembly. Reconnect both electrical connections before putting the stoplamp switch back onto its designated position on the brake pedal bracket. Reinstall the driver side instrument panel insulator now. Close the stoplamp switch to its proper position at the end.

Begin the replacement of the cruise release switch by taking out the insulator on the left instrument panel. The first step should be to disconnect the cruise release switch electrical connector then remove the switch from the brake pedal bracket retainer. The cruise release switch replacement includes putting the brake pedal bracket retainer back in its position while you reconnect the electrical connector. Complete the replacement by installing the left side instrument panel insulator after customizing the cruise release switch.

The replacement of the cruise control release switch starts with sound insulator extraction from the left half of the instrument panel. Before switching out the cruise control release switch disconnect its electrical connector and subsequently discard the switch unit. Depress the Brake Pedal first then insert the cruise control release switch into its bracket until the retainer reaches full seating position. Plug the electrical cable into the cruise control release switch before setting its position properly. The last installation step requires reinstallation of the left instrument panel sound insulator.

Start Brake Light Switch work by taking off the left side instrument panel insulator. Take off the Stoplamp and TCC switch device from its bracket by disconnecting the electrical power connection. Put back the electrical wire to the switch while attaching its body part to the bracket. Set the Stoplamp and TCC switch for proper performance before replacing the left side instrument panel insulator.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the stop lamp switch.

Connect the electrical connector to the stop lamp switch.

Begin by installing the stop lamp switch back onto the brake pedal bracket.

Remove the switch from its retainer on the brake pedal bracket.

First, remove the left side instrument panel insulator.

Reinstall the left instrument panel sound insulator.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch and remove the stop lamp and Torque Converter Clutch switch from the bracket.
