How to service the brake light switch on 2000 Buick Century?

In order to service the brake light switch, the electrical connectors should be disconnected by removing instrument panel insulator on the driver side. Disconnect the stoplamp switch by removing it out of bracket of brake pedal and then re-connect it and connector. Lastly, install the insulator and realign the stoplamp switch where necessary.
