Begin by taking out the air intake duct first and afterward take out the thermostat bypass pipe to replace the exhaust crossover pipe. Next, release the two exhaust crossover heat shield bolts and remove the shield, then undo the nuts of the pipe and remove it. To install, position and fasten the exhaust crossover pipe by locking it in place with the nuts tightened to 25 nm or 18 ft. Lbs. Attach and secure the exhaust crossover heat shield with eight hand-tight bolts at 10 nm pressure each. Attach the thermostat bypass pipe and reposition the air cleaner intake duct last.
