How to Service and Repair the Engine Oil Dipstick Tube on 2005 Buick LaCrosse?

All servicing and repair work on the engine oil dip stick along with the dip stick tube should begin with the ignition set to off. First disconnect the oil level indicator before you detach its tube bolt. Move the oil level indicator tube upward past the Exhaust Manifold through its path. Departure of just the oil level indicator tube seal requires you to discard the worn-out seal. Reinstall the oil level indicator tube together with the oil level indicator and then lower down the vehicle.
