  • Q: How to replace the fuel pressure sensor on 2005 Buick LeSabre?
A: Starting to replace the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor requires removal of rear compartment floor trim followed by removing fuel sender access panel bolts and removing its panel. The first step requires separating the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor electrical connector before removing the FTP sensor from the system. Start by installing the FTP Sensor while also connecting its electrical connector. Insert the fuel sender access panel before doling up the bolts according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions specification of 2 N.m (18 lb in).
