Disconnect the intermediate cable first at the right rear park brake cable then at the back equalizer and remove it. When installing the components place the intermediate park brake cable at both the equalizer and right rear parking brake cable . The intermediate park brake cable needs to be placed inside the cable retaining bracket before locking it down allowing installation of the front section of the cable to the park brake cable connector before guiding the front park brake cable back to its position.
