The trunk trim removal reveals the Shock Absorber upper mounting nuts followed by removing both the upper Shock Absorber cover and retaining nuts. The next step includes removing the upper Shock Absorber reinforcement while taking out the shock from inside the vehicle. The first step of installation requires placing the Shock Absorber along with reinforcement elements followed by laying retaining nuts then torque the upper Shock Absorber retaining nuts to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Put on the trunk trim after installing both the Shock Absorber cover and upper Shock Absorber retaining nuts.
