How to replace the front door window regulator on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

Start the front door Window Regulator replacement by first removing the door trim panel followed by peeling the water deflector to gain access to the window clamp bolts. Slightly tape the window first and then rotate the window clamp attachment bolts four times using the access holes of the inner door panel. Carefully put the Window Regulator at 3/4 of its downward movement and disconnect its electrical connector from the motor before removing fasteners 1, 2 and 3 connecting the regulator to the inner door panel. The installation requires Window Regulator placement into the door while the fasteners should be tightened in this sequence: fastener to 9 n.m (80 lb in), then fastener to 9 n.m (80 lb in), followed by fastener to 9 n.m (80 lb in). First remove the tape that holds the window up and then lower the window between the clamps of the Window Regulator until it reaches the back of the window channel. After that connect the power Window Motor electrical connector. Begin the vehicle to access full power for the Window Motor before raising the glass until it reaches the top then fasten the clamp bolts to 11 n.m (95 lb in). Check that both window operation and glass seal performance are correct before attaching the door trim panel along with the water deflector.
