How to replace the front Door Latch Assembly on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

Begin front door latch replacement by positioning the window all the way up before you take out the door trim panel along with the door module, inside Door Handle, and water deflector. Disconnect all electrical connectors by opening the clip on the lock cylinder rod and from the door latch rod as well as the outside Door Handle rod. Position the window run channel to the side before you remove door latch fasteners along with window run channel fasteners. Proceed by removing the door latch and keeping the inside Door Handle and lock rods intact before extracting the handle alongside rods from the door latch. During installation first attach the inside Door Handle along with lock rods to the door latch before installing the door latch into the frame while tightening all door latch fasteners to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Add the outside Door Handle rod to the open latch clip before closing down the clip. After that you must install the door latch and tighten the window run channel fastener to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Check the Door Handle functionality and lock cylinder operation while reattaching the inside Door Handle followed by reconnecting electrical wires. Finish the operation by adding the door trim panel and water deflector. The water deflector should be installed with the door module and door trim panel.
