How to replace the door lock cylinder on 2005 Buick LeSabre?

The first step to replace the Door Lock Cylinder begins by raising the window to its full position followed by panel removal from the door trim. Tear the rear section of the water deflector from the door to reach the outside Door Handle. Separate the outside Door Handle from its system before unfastening the lock cylinder e-clip to disconnect lock rod components and arm . Opening the omega clip enables access to pull out the lock cylinder from behind the Door Handle. Place the lock cylinder from the back side into the outside Door Handle and attach the lock cylinder rod and arm by installing the e-clip. Install the outside Door Handle before putting in the water deflector then complete the installation with the door trim panel.
