How to replace the rear door hinge on 2005 Buick Park Avenue?

The replacement of the rear door hinge requires ensuring the door stays closed in order to avoid causing any damage. Open the front door before removing both the hinge to body fasteners and the hinge to door fasteners. Rotate the body part of the hinge toward space from the vehicle structure and detach the hinge completely. Place the hinge over door mounting studs then position the body side of the hinge into its correct spot on the pillar. Fasten the hinges by securing their body side to 35 N.m (26 lb ft) and their door side to 34 N.m (24 lb ft). After touching up any body color paint damage on hinge and fasteners apply proper alignment to the door before concluding the front door.
