How to replace the rear seat cushion pad on 2005 Buick Park Avenue?

The process of removing the rear seat cushion begins with pushing the lower forward edge of the rear seat cushion toward the back then lifting upward on the seat cushion frame to unlatch the frame wires from its retainers on the rear seat pan before removing the cushion. When installing the cushion position it carefully so adjacent trim stays undamaged by lifting the back section into the body space and placing its rear edge under the rear seatback and seat belt straps in place. Push the seat cushion from its rear position until the front offsets at the frame align with both the Floor Pan retainers. Complete reenginagement of the retainers happens when you press down and pull the cushion in the forward direction.
