The replacement process of the cellular and navigation Antenna starts by removing the windshield garnish molding and sunshade on the headliner and door edge molding from the door opening. Start by lowering the front portion of the headliner and disconnecting the roof Antenna wire harness and removing the Antenna nut to take the Antenna off the roof. First use the roof surface to mount the Antenna Base followed by tightening the Antenna nut until it reaches 2 n.m (18 lb in). Reconnect the Antenna electrical connector before replacing the headliner back in position. The sunshade gets installed onto the headliner while the windshield garnish molding serves as the final installation step.
