How to replace the rear Parking Assist Distance Sensor on 2005 Buick Rendezvous?

In order to change the rear object sensor, one has to remove the rear bumper fascia and unplug the electrical connector of the sensor. Unscrew the sensor out of its casing and force the bezel through the fascia. Paint the new sensor, making sure that it is adequately thick and install it and reconnect the electrical connector and reattach the bumper fascia.
