How to Replace a Motor and Transmission Mount on 2005 Cadillac CTS?

In order to replace the rear transmission mount, you will have to first remove the exhaust system. Support the transmission by using an appropriate jack and a block of wood, then remove the transmission support and the transmission mount bolts. When you do this, you can take out the transmission mount into your vehicle. For installation, align up the new transmission mount and install the transmission mount bolts tightening them up to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.). Reinstall the transmission support, then remove the support from below the transmission. Finally, install back the exhaust system, lower the car.
