How to Replace an Antenna Cable for Extension Cable on 2005 Cadillac DeVille?

The radio needs to be taken off before replacing the Antenna Cable. The left side console trim panel must be removed for dts vehicles with Center Console installation. Installation of the instrument panel (IP) center compartment requires removal for base deville and dhs models. Cut off the radio end of your radio cable then disconnect the Antenna Cable from the radio. Disconnect the cable clip from the instrument panel carrier while pulling the radio Antenna Cable out of the instrument panel (I/P) harness. Keep note of the cable's route during removal. Keep the new radio Antenna Cable directly beside the i/p harness through the i/p carrier toward the radio opening just like you saw before removing these parts. Tie down the Antenna Cable by connecting it to the ip harness using a secure strap. During installation replace the radio followed by left console trim panel installation for dts vehicles but base deville and dhs vehicles need the instrument panel center compartment.
