How to replace the Dipstick Tube on 2005 Cadillac DeVille?

Remove the oil level indicator first by taking out the secondary AIR valve bracket bolt and the oil level indicator itself before unplugging the oil level indicator tube from the crankcase. After finding a new O-ring for the oil level indicator tube install it then mount the tube into position. The installation process requires tightening the oil level indicator tube nut to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) while the secondary AIR valve bracket bolt needs to be treated to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.). Fasten the oil level indicator as the final stage.
