How to replace the Ride Height Sensor on 2005 Cadillac DeVille?

Start by raising the vehicle and taking off the wheel before replacing the Ride Height Sensor. The initial procedure requires you to disconnect both the height sensor connector and sensor link from the ball stud followed by nut loosening of the sensor mounting structure. The sensor can be removed from the vehicle after you slide it downward while disengaging the anti-rotation tab. Insert the key hole opening of the sensor mounting stud into position before pushing the sensor upwards until the anti-rotation tab can lock into the lower hole. After securing the sensor mounting nut at 9 Nm torque (80 inch lbs.) you should establish the sensor link connection on the ball stud then restore the height sensor connector. Complete the process by installing the wheel followed by lowering the vehicle.
