How to replace the wiper arm on 2005 Cadillac DeVille?

Set your wipers to park position before replacing the Wiper Arm by marking its current position on your windshield with marker pen or tape. Unclip the washer hose from the air inlet grille panel before taking off the shield to access the Wiper Arm nut and its underlying bolt piece. Put the Wiper Arm puller tool j 39822 to take off the Wiper Arm from its drive pivot shafts. Spray and brush the drive shaft grooves then remove the wiper from the arm. Put the Wiper Blade on the Wiper Arm then line up the Wiper Arm with the windshield mark using the right position. Install the Wiper Arm on the drive pivot shafts. Attach the Wiper Arm nut over the shaft and fasten it to 32 n.m (24 lb ft) torque before replacing the cover along with the hose connection to the air inlet panel. Press the wipers to ensure accurate operating function.
