Check the brake mounting hardware and Brake Caliper Bracket for damage or cracks then replace affected parts. Position the fresh Brake Caliper Bracket in its place while applying threadlocker gm p/n 12345493(North America) or its equivalent substance to the bottom caliper bracket bolts to mark two-thirds of their thread length. Allow the threadlocker to take effect for ten minutes before installing the bolts with torque of 88 ft. Lbs. Secure the Brake Caliper Bracket bolts at 120 nm torque setting. Fasten the Brake Pad retainers and brake pads onto the Brake Caliper Bracket before placing the brake caliper on top.
