How to replace the rear windshield washer pump on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

Before working on the rear windshield Washer Pump you must take off the lower air deflector and passenger wheelhouse liner from the side. Pour washer solvent through a suitable outlet then unhook the wash hose and electrical connection at the pump. Unfasten the Washer Pump from the washer solvent container. Apply washer solvent to the Washer Pump intake nozzle to simplify its connection to the washer container before fastening the Washer Pump securely to its position. Attach the Washer Pump electrical connector first and then hook up the washer hose. In sequence install the passenger front wheelhouse liner and bottom air shield. Open the hood and add fresh washer solvent to the container before checking the Washer Pump function with the hood still open.
