  A: Begin Throttle Body assembly replacement by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable before removing the air cleaner outlet duct and air cleaner adapter stud. Cruise control and accelerator control cables should first be disconnected from the Throttle Body before removing retaining nuts from the accelerator cable routing bracket which can then be set aside. After separation of the accelerator control cable bracket retainers using the stud and nuts proceed to place the assembly aside. Perform a pedal inspection by activating the ignition while the engine is off then use a diagnostic tool to monitor the tp sensor signal as you move the pedal from closed to wide open throttle (WOT) position and return to zero-percent position.
