The first step to replace power steering pressure hoses begins by using a hoist to lift the vehicle and extracting the front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter if the car has an automatic transmission. A mechanic should detach the power steering pressure hose from the power steering gear followed by lowering the vehicle. Suspension the upper air cleaner assembly and detach the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump pipe before removing it from the vehicle.
