The replacement of a power steering return hose begins with upper air cleaner assembly removal. Detach first the clamp and power steering return hose from the Power Steering Pump. Users must first hoist the vehicle before taking off the front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter when the vehicle possesses an automatic transmission. Use an appropriate approach to extract the power steering return hose out of the vehicle. To install the power steering return hose properly fit it to the vehicle without any bending or twisting before connecting it to the power steering gear and tighten the fitting to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). If you removed the front Exhaust Pipe with Catalytic Converter you must reinstall them before lowering the vehicle while attaching the power steering return hose along with its clamp to the Power Steering Pump . The power steering system requires a bleeding procedure after you install the upper air cleaner assembly.
