To replace the crankshaft rear oil seal, one has to remove the transmission but first replace the Flywheel, being careful not to scalp off the outside diameter of the crank shaft or chamber with any tool. Use a flat-bladed tool to pry out the crankshaft rear oil seal. Next, install the new seal using the rear main seal installer (J 42067). After installing, install the Flywheel and bolt the Flywheel to a 53 nm (39 ft. Lbs.) plus 25degrees before re-installing the transmission.
