How to replace the front air bag sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Corvette?

To replace the inflatable restraint front end sensor, remove the SIR system. Then, remove the retaining bolts off the inflatable restraint front end sensor and get the sensor out of the vehicle. To install, reinstall the sensor in the vehicle and fasten it using retaining bolting with a torque of 9 N.m (80 lb in) as per the Fastener Notice found in Service Precautions. Finally, enable the SIR system.
