How to replace the Windshield Wiper Switch on 2005 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step to replacing the windshield washer switch starts by removing the tilt wheel lever and the driver knee bolster trim panel. Begin by taking apart the upper and lower steering column covers before disconnecting the wiring harness electrical connector. The wiper/washer switch emerges from the steering column lock module by disengaging its top and bottom retaining clips. Install the new wiper/washer switch by first inserting it into the steering column lock module until the upper and lower retaining clips lock into place followed by connecting the electrical connector to the wiring harness. Place back the two steering column covers (upper and lower) followed by reattaching the tilt wheel lever and the driver knee bolster trim panel.
