To replace the EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID VALVE you will need to first remove the left fuel rail cover. Following, remove the engine vacuum pipe from the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve to intake manifold EVAP pipe disconnect the engine purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve and finally disconnecting the harness connector from the EVAP canister purge valve. To start with, I will unclasp the EVAP canister purge valve from the purge bracket. For installation, start by installing the EVAP canister purge valve to the purge bracket, following by the installation of the harness connector onto the valve. In addition, attach chassis purge pipe to engine purge pipe and engine vacuum pipe to EVAP canister purge valve and then re-attaching the left fuel rail cover.
