2005 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the instrument panel Fuse Box on 2005 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: The replacement of an instrument panel electrical center or junction block requires the first step to be disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. The right door sill plate needs removal and passenger side carpet must be folded back to reach the multi-use bracket. First remove the retaining bolt attaching the multi-use bracket to the electrical wiring junction block while separating its outboard retaining clip before twisting the electrical wiring block to pull it away. You should begin by taking off the Battery Cable lead while also disconnecting three 64-way block connectors and three i/p wiring harness connectors and transferring the required fuses and relays. The electrical wiring junction block needs to be positioned correctly before connecting the three i/p wiring harness connectors and three 64-way block connectors. Install the Battery Cable lead after you fasten the electrical wiring junction block to the multi-use bracket through the retaining bolt. Reinstall the right door sill plate before placing the passenger side carpet in its normal position while reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
