The first step to handle Fuse block removal requires users to detach the negative Battery Cable on ls3 ls7 or ls9 vehicles. Start by taking out the carpet retainer to let you reach the multi-use bracket through folded passenger side carpet. Use a screwdriver to remove the retaining bolt from the multi-use bracket which connects to the electrical wiring junction block. After freeing the retaining clip of the outboard side you should twist the electrical wiring block before removing it from its position. The Battery Cable and all seven connectors between the i/p wiring harness and the 64-way block must be detached. Move all fuses and relays according to the installation protocol. Position the electrical wiring junction block and join the three i/p wiring harness connectors to their respective three 64-way block connectors. After fixing the Battery Cable lead, attach the electrical wiring junction block to the multi-use bracket through the retaining bolt.
