2008 Chevrolet Corvette Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the instrument panel Fuse Box on 2008 Chevrolet Corvette?
A: Before replacing the instrument panel electrical center or junction block it is necessary to start with disconnection of the negative Battery Cable on 6.0l or 7.0l vehicles. The multi-use bracket can be accessed by first removing the right door sill plate and secondly folding back the passenger side carpet. The multi-use bracket can be removed by first removing its retaining bolt from the electrical wiring junction block followed by unhinging the retaining clip from the outboard side so you can twist and extract the block. First disconnect the Battery Cable lead before disconnecting three 64-way block connectors and also the three connectors found on the i/p wiring harness. Due process requires transferring all fuses along with relays when needed. To install the electrical wiring junction block position it first then join all three i/p wiring harness connectors with the three 64-way block connectors. Fasten the electrical wiring junction block to the multi-use bracket through installing the retaining bolt before putting in the Battery Cable lead. Position the side carpet onto the passenger side and attach the door sill plate to the right location. During the conclusion reconnect the negative Battery Cable if your engine is either 6.0l or 7.0l.
