How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on 2005 Chevrolet Equinox?

To change the Inflatable Restraint Front End Sensor, disable the SIR system. Loosen the TORX head bolt holding the sensor (remember to note the left hand threads) and tighten after removing it. Slide the sensor forwards to disconnect the electrical connector. SIR deployment is prevented by making sure the sensor is secure before applying power.
