How to replace the auxiliary positive battery cable on 2005 Chevrolet Express 2500?

Initiate the replacement process of the auxiliary battery positive cable by disconnecting both the battery negative cable from battery and auxiliary battery. First disconnect the battery positive cable from its junction block position followed by vehicle elevation. Before removing the auxiliary battery from the vehicle you must first disconnect its positive cable from the junction block and its positive retainer from the frame along with the positive cable from the auxiliary battery. Start the positive cable battery installation by attaching it to the vehicle and connecting it to the auxiliary battery unit and tightening it to 15 N.m (11 lb ft). First position the battery positive cable retainers to the frame then lower your vehicle to attach the battery positive cable to the junction block while tightening the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Complete the installation by first screwing the auxiliary battery bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft) then attaching the battery negative cable to the auxiliary battery before finishing with installing the battery negative cable to the battery secured at 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
