    Q:
How to disconnect and reconnect the negative battery cable on Chevrolet Express 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
To begin the Battery Cable removal procedure turn off all vehicles accessories along with the ignition. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable and bolt that attaches to both the battery and to the auxiliary battery. After mounting the battery ground (negative) cable and bolt onto the battery continue by tightening the terminal bolt to 17 n.m (13 lb ft). Proper battery terminal bolt flange and Battery Cable end cleaning must happen before implementational procedures. Use the same procedure for the auxiliary battery installation which includes tightening the terminal bolt to specified values while removing battery corrosion.
