2005 Chevrolet Express 2500 Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Throttle Position Sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Express 2500?
A: The first step is to remove the engine cover and the tp sensor harness connector, then remove the tp sensor attaching fasteners and remove the tp sensor from the Throttle Body. You should not soak the tp sensor in any liquid cleaner or solvent to prevent any harm. Set the throttle valve in the closed position and set the tp sensor in place on the shaft, making sure the mounting holes are aligned as you turn it counterclockwise. Now, connect the tp sensor harness connector, tighten the attaching fasteners to 2 n.m (18 lb in), and then put back the engine cover.
