How to replace the Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) on a 2WD on 2005 Chevrolet Express 2500?

When replacing the Wheel Speed Sensor on 2wd vehicles start by lifting and stabilizing the vehicle then taking out the tire and wheel. The next step is to detach the brake rotor from the 1500 series model. First pull away the wss cable mounting clip from the knuckle frame parts while also disconnecting the electric cable connector and removing the bolt. Take out the sensor from its bore gently to prevent damage while removing it from the hub/bearing assembly of 2500/3500 series models. Before inserting the new sensor apply several thin beadings of wheel bearing lubricant on the hub surface and sensor o-ring. Position the wss evenly on top of the hub and install the mounting bolt to 18 nm torque before bolt tightening. Reinstall the brake rotor on 1500 series cars after securing the wss cable mounting points to knuckle, upper Control Arm, and frame components and connecting the electric connector. End the maintenance by testing the vehicle's diagnosis system.
