How to replace the rear wheel speed sensor on a 10.5 axle on Chevrolet Express 2500?

You must lift the vehicle and take off the left rear sensor leaf spring anchor plate to replace a rear Wheel Speed Sensor on 10.5 axles. Loosen the retaining bolt to detach the electrical connector. Remove the Wheel Speed Sensor bolt installation and slide out the sensor with its spacer block. Reinsert the Wheel Speed Sensor bolt after placing both the Wheel Speed Sensor and spacer block back into position. Tighten the bolt to 14 n.m (124 lb in). Bitir the electrical connection and put back the leaf spring anchor plate before lifting the vehicle. Following installation you must verify sensor operation by starting the engine only to run it at low speeds. Keep the vehicle from use until professionals repair it when the abs or traction assist warning lights stay on. Search for damage and improper installation on the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector. Check symptoms - antilock brake system to solve the issue when the indicators stay lit. Drive the vehicle at 16 km/h (10 mph) or faster on a flat and empty space for more than 5 seconds to test abs functionality.
