Once the vehicle stands secure and lifted start by taking off the tire followed by the wheel and rotor to access the Wheel Hub bearing and seal on a rear-wheel drive vehicle. You should take out the
Wheel Speed Sensor mounting bolt to extract the Wheel Speed Sensor from the Wheel Hub and bearing. Use the right tools to extract the Wheel Hub and bearing alongside the splash shield from the
Steering Knuckle. Apply wheel bearing grease or equivalent into the Steering Knuckle bore then wipe away all rust or dirt from within the Steering Knuckle bore and hub bearing. Put the Wheel Hub and bearing into its place on the Steering Knuckle while observing fastener instructions. Secure the Wheel Hub and bearing mounting bolts at 180 n.m (133 lb ft). The speed sensor mounts back into the Wheel Hub and bearing as you tighten its bolt to 18 n.m (13 lb ft). Once complete place back the rotor then fasten wheel and tire assembly while letting the vehicle rest on the ground.
