  A: Begin by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable followed by the Drive Belt removal from the generator. Push aside the protective boot covering the generator output bat terminal to expose it before you remove the generator output bat terminal nut and the positive battery lead from the generator. Proceed by removing the generator rear brace nut while also removing the rear brace bolt and rear brace. Remove the pivot bolt and stud along with bolt from the generator but keep in mind that spacer only exists for vehicles with the (KG7) 125 ampere generator. Unplug the electrical connector from the generator before removing it from service. To install the generator place it against the engine and install the electrical connector. Drive the generator stud and spacer into the generator through its hole before tightening the generator bolt and pivot bolt with light pressure. Tighten the generator bolts in the following sequence: apply the sequence of torque values starting with pivot bolt at 50 n.m (37 lb ft) then move to stud at 50 n.m (37 lb ft) and finish with bolt at 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Secure the positive battery lead by tightening the generator output bat terminal nut to 20 n.m (15 lb ft), then affix the protective boot to the bat terminal. Secure the generator rear brace by attaching its bolt and nut through tightening each to a torque value of 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Finish the process by installing the Drive Belt while reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
