Begin by brushing away oxidation from the terminal ends of the battery and cable so they are ready for installation. Start by locking the battery cover with the tower strut tab first followed by the engine tab then the powertrain control module (PCM) tab. Use 17 N.m (13 lb ft) torque when tightening the bolt. Set the radio stations and reset the clock as your last step.
