Next, remove the bolt (NA) that also keeps the negative cable attached to the core support and then remove the tape (NA) that holds the positive cable and ground strap to the negative cable. Take off the negative cable from the retainers and lift the vehicle. Then, you will have to remove the lower closeout panel and the front transmission mount. Unscrew the nut (N/A) holding the ground cable to the bellhousing stud, and remove the ground cable. The installation begins with the ground cable installation and screw it onto the bellhousing stud with the nut (N/A) tightened to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Then, reinstall front transmission mount and the lower closeout panel and lower the vehicle. Then, install the negative cable to the retainers, tie the positive cable and ground strap to the negative cable, and lastly, securable the bolt (N/A) to hold the ground cable to the core support before you can connect the negative ground cable.
