How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2005 Chevrolet Malibu?

To replace the Throttle Body assemblies, first, remove the air cleaner intake duct and then disconnect the electronic throttle control (ETC) electrical connector. Next, remove the heater pipe nut at Throttle Body and after that the nuts and bolts supporting the Throttle Body. With careful hands, remove the Throttle Body assembly and Throttle Body Gasket, while cleaning and inspect the gasket mating surfaces on the Intake Manifold and the Throttle Body assembly using no solvent since this can damage the surfaces. For installation in case required, install new gasket, then installing the Throttle Body assembly and fasten it using nuts and bolts tightening it to 10 n.m (89 lb in) as per fastener notice in service precautions. After that, reinstall heater pipe nut onto the Throttle Body, use 25 n.m, (18 lb ft) to tighten the nut, then reconnect the etc electrical connector, and, finally, install the air cleaner intake duct.
