Remove the Ball Joint/stud separator (J 41820), then ball stud nut and ball stud off the lower controlarm. For install, insert the ball stud onto the lower Control Arm, and install the new ball stud bolts at down from the ball stud, observe the fastener notice in service precautions. Replace the new ball stud nuts and fasten them to 68 nm (50 ft. Lbs.). Mount the ball stud directly on the Steering Knuckle and fasten the ball stud castle nut with a torque of 20 nm (15 ft.
