How to replace the Brake Proportioning Valve on 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

In order to replace the combination valve, record the identification code of the valve in place. Disassemble the electrical connector, braking pipes and the valve. Install the new valve with the same identification code and reconnect the electrical connector and make sure that the metering rod is depressed when bleeding.
