In order to take off the negative Battery Cable, first, record all preset and theft codes from the radio, and switch the Ignition Switch into the lock position and make sure that all electrical apparatus are turned off, including interior lights and underhood lamp. Lift the car then undo the rear battery cover bolts and, cover along with negative Battery Cable.after removing it. For the connection procedure, ensure that all electrical components are off, remove any corrosion from the negative Battery Cable with a wire brush, and connect the negative Battery Cable, which should be tightened to 15 n.m (11 lb ft) with the cable bolt. Mount the rear battery cover and nuts , putting the nuts on to 10 n.m (89 lb in), lower the vehicle, reset radio presets and theft codes.
