How to replace the Rack and Pinion Boot on 2005 Chevrolet SSR?

Removing the rack and pinion gear will require first removing the outer tie rod and then the rack and pinion boot. When changing the inner tie rod, replace all the parts of the boots. Develop the old boot, remove the retaining clamps, and fitting the new boot with grease and making sure that it aligns appropriately. Tighten the clamps and replace gear and tie rod.
