How to replace the wiper arm on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

You need to remove the cover over the Wiper Arm nut before using your fingers to hold the Wiper Arm and unscrewing the nut. Use a rubber mallet or battery terminal puller (J-45678) to push toward the Wiper Arm pivot and disengage it from the Drive Shaft. If the pivot still does not loosen, the puller will help achieve proper removal. When the Drive Shaft is loose enough take the Wiper Arm off and remove the Wiper Arm blade from the Wiper Arm itself. Brush a wire across both sides of the Drive Shaft surface. Place your Wiper Arm blade first onto the Wiper Arm before setting this setup onto the wiper shaft installation position. Move the Wiper Arm blade to match the spots in the windshield blackout area and fasten the nut onto the Drive Shaft at 30 n.m (22 lb ft). .assert the nut's cover and activate the wipers to check if they work correctly.
