How to Replace a Rear Wiper Motor on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

To swap the rear Wiper Motor you need to first take the Wiper Arm off before undoing its mounting nut and spacer from the shaft. You can begin by taking off the interior trim from the liftgate panel and pulling out the Wiper Motor electrical connections. Loosen the two Wiper Motor bolts that fix the Wiper Motor to the liftgate then pull out the Wiper Motor. Put the new Wiper Motor in place and fasten its position with 2 bolts which need to be tightened to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Place the trim panel back in its original place, connect the Wiper Motor electrical connector, and put the spacer and nut onto the Wiper Motor shaft. Finally, tighten the nut to 8 n.m and install the Wiper Arm.
