  A: Begin generator replacement by disconnecting the battery ground (negative) cable from the battery. The engine needs to be rotated forward for access to the rear generator bolts while maintaining engine security. Start by removing the generator b+ terminal nut along with the generator b+ lead and the generator electrical connector. Start by extracting the Drive Belt from the generator until it is completely removed. Afterwards use a wrench to remove the generator front bolt followed by the rear bolts. Position the generator above the drive axle after extracting it carefully from its bracket. Disconnect the Drive Belt tensioner along with the generator bracket while also separating the power steering pipes from the power steering pipe retainer. Unscrew the schrader valve cap from the fuel injector rail before placing the Power Steering Pump in front of the timing chain cover without disconnecting the power steering pipes.
